Computer Doctors On Call has been keeping Ontario businesses running since 1986. The technology has changed completely. What clients need from it has not.
We started out repairing machines. Over four decades that turned into designing the infrastructure underneath them, because most of the faults we were called out to were symptoms of how the environment had been put together in the first place.
That is how we ended up specialising in diskless architecture. Once you have replaced enough failed drives and rebuilt enough infected workstations, a model where the endpoint holds nothing and resets itself every morning stops looking exotic and starts looking obvious.
We are deliberately not a large firm. Clients deal with technicians who know their environment, and we keep relationships long enough to be judged on how the decisions aged.
